On my way to MBA
The quest has begun. As I complete my last rites with Accenture and set off to pursue my dream MBA from Cranfield School of Management, I am experiencing an uneasy excitement. Moving on from a very lavish corporate life to a financially-constrained but risk-free student life & prospects of not earning for a year sometimes unnerves me, but it also makes me proud that I am doing what it takes to get what I want.
I started my GMAT prep in Jan 2005 & gave it in May 2005. With a decent score, I apped to ISB (last year), Cranfield & IIM-C. I got selected to the latter two. It took a lot of conviction to turn down IIM-C and I am thankful to all those who helped me think beyond the brand-name and help me decide the right MBA for me rather than the convenient one.
I head off to the U.K. on 30th Sep and the course starts on 2nd Oct. All my pre-MBA friends are already well settled in and are enjoying the Cranfield experience and also the last few days of pleasant English weather.
